This morning, Bartlett Rebels 12U standout Silas Hart took the field in Crown Point, Indiana, representing our program on a bigger stage. Playing for the Minors Stripes 12U team at the prestigious Game Day All-Star Weekend, Silas joined other talented players from across the region for a showcase of competitive youth baseball.
Although Saturday’s games were canceled due to inclement weather, the action picked back up Sunday as the Stripes faced off against the Stars. The Stars came out swinging early and built up a commanding lead. But in true Rebels spirit, the Stripes didn’t back down. In an incredible last-inning rally, they clawed their way back, nearly completing the comeback before falling just short in a nail-biting 16-17 finish.
Silas Hart made his mark on both sides of the ball. At the plate, he went 1-for-3 with a run scored, helping fuel the team’s late surge. On the mound, he delivered a solid performance in relief, pitching one inning and recording two strikeouts, showing off the composure and command that makes him a key player for the Bartlett Rebels.
We’re proud to have Silas representing the Rebels with grit, skill, and sportsmanship. His effort this weekend is a testament to the hard work he puts in every day and the bright future he has in the game. Way to go, Silas! Keep making us proud! ⚾💪
