The GameDay USA New Year’s Bash rolled on with another dominant performance, and once again Zach Stiens was right in the middle of the action.
In Game 2 of the tournament, Zach and the Stars delivered a statement win over the Champions PCB squad, cruising to an impressive 17–0 shutout. Serving as the leadoff hitter, Zach set the tone from the very first inning, consistently putting pressure on the defense and jump-starting the Stars’ offense.
Zach crossed the plate twice in the contest, using his speed and instincts on the bases to create scoring opportunities and keep the momentum firmly in the Stars’ dugout. His ability to reach base and manufacture runs was a key piece of the offensive explosion that left the Champions scrambling to keep up.
While the bats were on fire, the Stars’ defense was just as electric. The entire pitching and defensive unit combined to allow only one hit for the entire game — a near-perfect effort that completely shut down the Champions PCB lineup and preserved the lopsided victory.
After lifting the Stars to a big win in Game 1 earlier in the tournament, Zach followed it up with another high-impact performance in Game 2, proving once again why he’s such a vital piece at the top of the lineup.
Up Next:The Stars are right back in action on Tuesday, December 30th at 2:00 PM, where they’ll take on JP Sports Black as they continue their push at the GameDay USA New Year’s Bash.
Two games, two huge statements — and Zach Stiens is making sure the Stars are impossible to ignore. 🌟⚾
